In a surprising partnership that challenges conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Uncovered

According to the official release, "A mysterious meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of banned practices and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret group.

The questline concentrates on "peculiar tests and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Changes

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Extra Features

Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an exclusive katana alongside numerous objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
